There’s a reason it’s called fishing and not catching – but, here in the bountiful waters of the British Virgin Islands, with our quality rod and tackle rentals, you have a very good chance of catching your dinner! Fish while you sail! Drag a line from the back of your boat and catch surface feeding fish like mahi-mahi, kingfish, tuna and mackerel. Sushi for supper? Delicious!
NB – Know your fish! Be aware that many predatory reef fish in the BVI have Ciguatera poisoning which can give you nasty food poisoning. If you want to catch and eat a fish, avoid barracuda, snapper, jacks, triggerfish and parrotfish.

Please note – we allow the loss of 1 lure during your rental – any subsequent lost lures will be charged at a rate of $10 per lure. Additionally, should a reel need to be re-spooled due to excessive lost line, a charge of $15 will be incurred.
Fishing Permits
The removal of any marine organism from BVI waters is illegal for non-BVIslanders without a recreational fishing permit. These cost $45 and are valid for 1 month. Pls note, Children under the age of 18 yrs are not required to have a permit, nor those who will only be fishing from shore.
For a $20 service charge we can organise your permit for you but require your scanned passport information a minimum of 48 hours prior to your charter. A $30 charge will apply for same day permit requests or a $40 charge for permit requests where that is the sole request. Please note, these prices are PER PERMIT.
